Deng Long Ji
Deng Long Ji is a packaging design for wine, created for a Chinese wine brand. The bottle shape is derived from the traditional Chinese lantern, a form associated with prosperity and celebration. The bottle cap is decorated with a Chinese window lattice pattern. The gift box is made of decorated fired acrylic and the bottle is made of decorated fired glass. The box measures 109.02 by 109.02 by 280.5 millimeters. The design presents wine through a contemporary Chinese aesthetic and aims to change the common view of wine as a purely Western product.
